Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.
Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.
Coordinates transfers.
Enters injection and infusion charges.
Maintains current census for inpatient and assigns rooms for all admissions.
Coordinates daily patient flow activities such as cleaning rooms and transporting specimens to lab.
Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.
Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.
Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.
Other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent Required
