Position Summary and Responsibilities
The Mellon-funded Consortium on Forced Migration, Displacement and Higher Education is hiring a full-time Coordinator for Research and Pedagogy. Funding for this position is reserved to a recent postbac, starting July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023. The individual will work closely with the Principal Investigator and Director of the Grant at Vassar College.
The competitive position will be filled by an individual with a background in or commitment to issues related to Forced Migration. Working closely with the Grant Director, the individual will assist in the launching and dissemination of Consortium research and pedagogical projects and support the communication between Consortium partners (Vassar, Bard Annandale, Bard Berlin, Bennington, and Sarah Lawrence colleges, The New School, and the Council for European Studies). The individual will furthermore assist in bridging the gap between research and liberal arts institutions, and in reaching out to diverse educational communities.
Qualifications

• Extensive research, writing and editing for an interdisciplinary global audience required.
• Superb writing, editing and oral communications skills.
• Knowledge of Excel, website design, and familiarity with Zoom are key to filling this position.
• Ability to work collaboratively and across institutions is essential.
• Command of a language other than English is desirable.
