Transaction Manager

Role: Transaction Manager

Reports to: Philip Kreis | Director of Investments

Job Type: Full Time

Compensation: 75-95k base bonus potential

Location: Denver, CO

SUMMARY --

As a Transaction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the transaction process within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient real estate transactions, from initiation to completion, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. This position requires a deep experience with closing commercial and residential transactions, understanding of key aspects of the closing process such as working with third party vendors such as ALTA Survey, Phase I and Phase II environmental, appraisals, lender term sheets and lender closing guidelines, title commitments, insurance polices, and other real estate specific reports and venros. This role requires someone with a high standard for attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, the energy and persistence to overcome multiple objections from enrelated parties that are needed to all come together in order to accomplish the desired outcome.

WHAT YOU’LL DO --

  • Transaction Oversight:
  • Manage and supervise the end-to-end transaction process, ensuring accuracy, organization, thoroughness and compliance.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate a seamless flow of information and documents throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Due Diligence:
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential transactions, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all transactions adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Negotiation and Documentation:
  • Assist in the negotiation of pricing, deadlines and conditions with multiple third party vendors.
  • Work closely with legal teams to draft, review, and finalize transaction documents.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and other stakeholders involved in the transaction process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for transaction-related inquiries.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports on transaction activities.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Proactively identify and address issues that may arise during the transaction process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS –

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in transaction management, Title, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of financial transactions, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools, including Google Suite and transaction management systems. Highly skilled in Excel.
  • Proficient grasp of legal real estate vocabulary.
