Will train the right candidate on our products and order entry system. If you have sales and service experience or want to gain that experience, it will be a big plus and you could be a good fit for this job. This is a great next career step from a regular auto parts counterperson. Our customers are mostly small business owners needing your help to find the correct item when they call in. Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Landscaping knowledge is a plus.

VARCo Industrial Supply is a fun family owned industrial supply warehouse. We have been serving our customers for nearly 50 years and looking forward to our next 50 years. Headquartered in Virginia, we also have a location in Arkansas besides our new Ohio office location.

This Position Will Be Responsible For:

• Selling and providing customer service over the phone, through our website varcosupply.com and via email.
• Ensuring orders and shipments are accurate and free of errors or issues.
• Confirm fitment, size and color of requested items.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent phone communication skills.
• Good typing and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and assigned order times.
• Strong attention to detail and quality controls.
• Up to 50% travel to Manassas, VA, will be required in the first few months for training
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Starting pay based on experience.
• Review and raise in 90 days along with career path opportunities in a growing company.

Job Type: Full-time preferred but may consider part time as well depending on experience.

Pay: $14.00 to $16.00 per hour
