Vara Chevrolet is Hiring an Automotive body shop assistant Near San Antonio, TX
We are looking for a Body Shop Assistant to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong customer service background and basic computer skills such as email and data entry. Bilingual in English and Spanish. *Please read the responsibilities and qualifications before applying.

Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Excellent people skills
- Professional
- Basic computer skills: comfortable with email, data entry, and willing to learn our dealership system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Follows instructions and policies
- Punctual, reliable and eager to improve
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Check in/ open tickets on all tow ins
- Answer all incoming calls & transfer to the correct handling estimator
- Bill out charges for total loss vehicles
- Issue purchase orders for vendors for sublet work
- Receipt in all payments
- File completed Folders into filing room
- Check body shop A/R schedule to ensure all payments have been collected
- Weekly flag all technicians/ body men
- Call DRP claimants to schedule tow pickups for all assignments
- Open tickets for all vehicles that come in from sales for frame checks
