About the Role:

Facilities Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance and operation of facilities, ensuring their functionality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of various systems within the facility, such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
• Manage construction and renovation projects within the facility. Coordinate with contractors, oversee project timelines, budgeting, and procurement of materials and equipment.
• Conduct feasibility studies, prepare cost estimates, and provide technical expertise during project planning and execution.
• Manages employees that are part of the facilities team.
• Ensure that the facility complies with safety regulations and industry standards and works closely with the EHS Specialist.
• Performs the task of Facility Lead by maintaining organization, safety and preventative maintenance throughout the facilities, outside storage areas and entire property. Works collaboratively with cross functional departments to lead and accomplish site wide 5S goals, where applicable.

Requirements / Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a related role.
• Familiar with local, national, and industry-specific building codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of hazardous material laws and regulations including handling, labeling, and disposal.
• Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Knowledgeable about plumbing systems, water supply, and wastewater management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
