We are looking for a Gurney Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner to dialysis or medical appointments with a Gurney assistant. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their medical transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no major traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles and will be given a gas card. Must be 25 or older.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
• Keep vehicle sanitized and clean
• Assist clients with loading and unloading, as well as helping them to the door if needed
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Overtime always available
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Skills

• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices and smartphones
• Availability to work some Saturdays
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
