Security Department

The Vantage Threat Intelligence team supervises various social media platforms, forums, blogs, and other sources to collect and analyze information about emerging trends, vulnerabilities, risks, and threats surrounding the data center industry and the company. It works with internal departments to assess the level of risk posed to the organization and provides insights and recommendations to mitigate threats across all regions. Additionally, the team investigates threats such as data leaks and private data protection. We are looking for an individual who possesses a proven understanding of the intelligence landscape, familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools and resources, a good grasp of the current geopolitical environment, excellent analytical sense, and outstanding writing abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong appetite for learning, a capacity to adapt to evolving challenges, and a penchant for innovative thinking. Essential Job Functions

  • Perform social media supervising daily.

  • Conduct open-source investigations.

  • Participate in risk assessments and formulate analysis on potential threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies to enhance interpersonal security posture and resilience.

  • Write comprehensive intelligence reports based on gathered information and analysis.

  • Manage and maintain intelligence tools to ensure efficient and effective operations.

  • Develop and regularly update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to intelligence operations and reporting.

Duties

  • Use OSINT to identify and monitor discussions, trends, threats, and risks that may impact the organization. Conduct risk assessments analyzing potential threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Formulate comprehensive analytical reports outlining findings, insights, and recommendations to enhance organizational security posture and resilience.

  • Present report findings, insights, and actionable recommendations in a clear, concise, and organized manner.

  • Coordinate intelligence tools and platforms to ensure optimal functionality.

  • Create and regularly update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for intelligence operations, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

  • Assist in incident response efforts during security incidents or emergencies.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytic writing and verbal briefing.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and rapid learning proficiency.

  • Must possess the ability to quickly and effectively condense information into usable, actionable product for executives and other senior partners.

  • Excellent critical thinking and open-source research skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to succinctly summarize and assess information.

  • Strong digital literacy including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and ClickUp.

  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.

Experience

  • 3 years in open-source intelligence, analytical, and investigative disciplines.

  • 3 years of experience with at least one of the following tools: LifeRaft Navigator, Dataminr, Thomson Reuters CLEAR, ONTIC, Recorded Future.

  • 3 years of experience producing intelligence reports.

Additional Details:

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 Base Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
