We are Vant4ge. Our staff is passionate about using technology to help and give hope to people who may have become involved in local, state or federal justice systems. We provide an online community-of-care that connects, coordinates and tracks all those who are involved in the correctional and rehabilitative life cycle, including those with the most at stake (the justice involved youth or adult, him/herself). Our technology seeks to empower all involved to assess, assign and encourage completion of treatment plans that will improve success in the community. We enjoy knowing our software at the end of the day is being used to help people.

Overview

As a Vant4geä Copywriter you will work closely with key members of our Executive, Product and Sales teams, and conceive and craft every creative expression of our Products and Company Strategy. As our Copywriter you will draw on research, strategic, directorial, and presentation skills, in addition to writing and editing skills, to develop and influence advertising and marketing executions from concept to completion.

Leverage your experience from your portfolios of short-form and long-form writing for print, digital, social media, and websites. This will include headline and copy development, copy editing, and possible scriptwriting.

This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, matching 401k and a wellness benefit. This is a hybrid role located in Salt Lake City, UT. While this role may work primarily from home, candidates can expect to gather in Salt Lake City for collaborative work on a regular basis. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop marketing and advertising concepts that meet the goals of each campaign.
• Write, proofread, and edit content for all campaign materials, including print and digital advertising, direct response, branding, social media, and video scripts.
• Brainstorm themes, create and edit custom content, and provide editorial review
  for all materials.
• Interact with marketing team members, as well as contacts throughout the organization.
• Generate a high volume of concepts/ideas and write highly targeted copy on one
  or more assignments.
• Create copy for a variety of marketing materials.
• Adapt to changes in format, media, and audiences.
• Provide multiple solutions for every challenge.
• Advocate for your ideas to stakeholders and get them produced on time, on budget, and within the scope of our collective vision.
• Be that co-creator with your Design partners to champion every project, through every objection, to its full completion.
• Work within established design guidelines and best practices.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously and may perform cross over support
  to other departments.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in marketing communication, journalism, or public relations or equivalent related experience.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in copywriting in corporate communications, advertising or creative agencies.
• State Corrections and/or Healthcare experience a plus.
• Strong creative writing and proofing skills.
• Ability to convert complex creative ideas and concepts into marketing language.
• Flexibility and efficiency in a collaborative creative team environment, working alongside market strategists, project managers and product experts.
• Good organizational and effective project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, and in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and some experience in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Effective and compelling communication and presentation skills.
