Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide them with product information and assistance
- Assist customers in finding the right products for their needs
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Stock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Upsell additional products or accessories to customers
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Experience:
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with stock management and inventory procedures but not required
- Proficiency in operating a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to upsell products to increase sales revenue
- Knowledge of cash register operations
- Technical sales experience is an asset
