JOB TITLE: Staff RN Medical/Surgical Units
REPORTS TO: Manager/Director of Medical/Surgical Inpatient Services
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for patients. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred. BSN preferred. Two year's nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a current California RN license and BLS certification. ACLS certification within 90 days of hire or status change. Must obtain basic dysrhythmia certification within 120 days of employment or status change.
