Position Summary
Responsible for completing work assignments and tasks for Ammunition Supply Point (ASP) operations. Also responsible for the stock record account using Standard Army Ammunition System-Modified (SAAS-MOD), complete material control receipts, accounting and supply reports.
Essential Functions
· Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
· Ensure automated and manual accounting records are established and maintained. Ensure receipts, turn-in, due-ins and due-outs are posted and documented correctly.
· Operates Standard Army Ammunition System-Modified (SAAS-MOD) and ammunition accountability operations services supporting the project.
· Manage materials and assets for ASP operations, coordinate transportation of retrograde supplies and or equipment, track equipment operators, oversee SAAS-MOD, customer reconciliations and respond to SAAS-MOD troubleshooting.
· Maintain a stock locator system and administers document control procedures.
· Ensures all processes are performed by all applicable regulations.
· Perform all duties in an effective and efficient manner.
Minimum Requirements
· Ideal Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and ideally will have completed training for Army Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 89B3O/4O, Ammunition Specialist or have equivalent training with 10-15 years of ammunition experience in the grade of E-5 to E-6.
· Experience in using Standard Army Ammunition System-Modified (SAAS-MOD).
· Have the ability to multitask and make quick decisions as needed.
· Be able to quickly grasp an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.
· Work well in a team environment and able to work with a diverse group of people.
· Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and all others in a courteous and professional manner.
· Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
· Requires a SECRET Clearance.
General Requirements
· Excellent written and oral communications skills; proficient in Microsoft Systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to complete and prioritize tasks on multiple concurrent projects within given timeframes.

Education and Citizenship Requirements
· US nationality/citizenship and residence, with verbal and written fluency in English.
· Requires a SECRET Clearance
· Knowledge of the Army Supply Systems outlined in AR 710-2, DA Pamphlet 710-2-1 and AR 19-11 as well as possess the following munitions handling certifications; Ammo-45 Intro to Ammunition, Ammo-68 Military Munitions Rule, Ammo-64 Class V Issue Turn-In and Residue Processing, Ammo-67 Hazardous Familiarization and Safety Transportation.
This is a civilian position and doesn't require enlistment.
