Part-time Hospitalist – Weekend Rounding Call Coverage

About Us:

Vanguard Medical Group, an independent, physician-owned & -led, primary care group, is actively seeking a Part-time Hospitalist to join our dedicated team of medical professionals. This role involves providing medical care to Vanguard patients admitted to the local hospitals.

Location: 

• Hawthorne, NJ
• Chilton Hospital
• St Joseph’s Medical Center Paterson
• St. Joseph’s Wayne

Schedule:

• Part-time weekend position, rounding and call coverage.
• Rotating holiday coverage

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients admitted to the hospital
• Manage and coordinate patient care in collaboration with other medical professionals
• Ensure adherence to infection control measures
• Utilize data management systems to track patient progress and treatment plans
• Responsible for office call coverage during assigned weekends

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple patients at once
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals
• Knowledge of ailment and home care
