We are looking for Bindery Operators to assist one of our clients in the Lithia Springs area. The ideal candidate will operate Bindery related equipment such as Guillotines, Sheet and pack collators, Business card slitter, perforators, paper folding machines, etc.
Duties:
- Set up, operate, and maintain bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and collators
- Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
- Follow job orders and production schedules to complete tasks in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production
- Assist with layout design and typography for print advertising materials
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating bindery equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of machining processes and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and production schedules
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
