Healthcare Billing Analyst Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of rates analysis, data utilization, and pricing model development experience.
• Prior healthcare experience with strong knowledge of various payment methodologies.
• Working knowledge of HFA 1500 Billing form completion.
• Tech-savvy with MS Office Suite including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency with database applications and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Healthcare Billing Analyst Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze data to support revenue cycle strategies.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and presentations to convey key information to leadership.
• Audit data for accuracy and resolve underpayment issues.
• Ad-hoc revenue and expense analysis / reporting.

Salary : $28-$30 / hr. (DOE)
