VanderHorn Architects, a Greenwich, CT architecture firm, specializing in the finest quality residential design, seeks a Project Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of large single-family residential projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
Job Responsibilities:
• Works with the Principal to design projects.
• Develops, checks and coordinates all technical aspects of each project.
• Leads in construction drawing efforts.
• Assists in project code review.
• Coordinates the work of project consultants.
• Oversees the work of assisting staff.
• Follows established standards for project production.
• Participation in construction phase site meetings.
Key Skills:
• Three years’ minimum experience managing similar projects with limited oversight.
• Must have good time management and estimation skills, and be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects in an efficient manner.
• M.Arch or B.Arch required.
• Architect’s license for Connecticut or adjacent state(s) preferred.
• Demonstrate understanding of traditional residential design and wood frame design.
• Strong graphics, presentation and communications skills. A professional, respectful, and respectable demeanor is absolutely essential.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD with knowledge of Rhino, Sketch Up, Revit, and Microsoft Office a plus.
Must currently live within 40 miles of Greenwich, CT. This is an in-office position, with the option of working remotely on Fridays.
