Organization: Physical Therapy Job Summary: Vanderbilt Tullahoma - Harton Hospital (VTHH) Rehabilitation Services provides care for all hospital inpatient units and provides outpatient clinic services in an adjacent outpatient center. Physical therapists provide evaluation, management, preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function, impaired or threatened by disease, injury, or disability. Inpatient therapy services include orthopedic and neuro related therapies. Our outpatient therapy program includes specialties in pelvic, vestibular and lymphedema rehabilitation. VTHH nurtures an environment of learning and advancement in therapy skills. Rehabilitation Services performance improvement efforts are focused on achieving excellence in service and quality, while also achieving greater efficiency. The Epic electronic medical record system is used for documentation of care. Rehabilitation Services is staffed, according to workload requirements. This role is responsible for administering and directing appropriate Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment as prescribed by qualified physician. Responsible for effective communication and accurate documentation. . VTHH Accomplishments Vanderbilt Tullahoma - Harton Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and received the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) 4 Star Quality Rating in 2023. The VTHH Emergency Department is an accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology. It is a 135-bed facility offering a wide range of outstanding medical and surgical services and includes a 14-bed critical care unit, labor & delivery, (with a Level 2 nursery), and advanced imaging services including 3D mammography, 3D breast biopsy, and bone density. The VTHH Wound Care Clinic is a physician driven, provider-based service line functioning as an integrated department of VTHH and made up of a multidisciplinary team that provides screening, assessment, planning and implementing treatment for acute, chronic or non-healing wounds on an outpatient, non-emergent basis. The VTHH Sleep Disorders Center is accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine; the VTHH Women's Center (OB) was named one of the Best Hospitals for Maternity Care by Money and The Leapfrog Group in 2022.
