Vander Haag’s Inc. has a leadership opportunity in the Parts Sales Department in our Council Bluffs, IA, location. This position will play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations within the department as well implementing strategies for our continued growth in this location.

General duties include:

• Providing day-to-day leadership and supervision of assigned team members.
• Answering phones, assisting customers, providing coaching to assigned Parts Sales team members on an as-needed basis.
• Working closely with other Vander Haag’s locations and Parts Sales team members to resolve parts issues and meet customer needs.
• Leading weekly meetings to review procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Working with vendors for cataloging and training.
• Reviewing sales orders to ensure compliance with company standards.

A minimum of two to four years of prior parts sales experience is required. This position does require the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers. A working knowledge of computers is also required. The ideal candidate should be a results-oriented leader.

Hours: General business hours (7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, M-F). Occasional Saturdays will be required on a rotational basis.

Pay: Base Salary ranging from $45,000 - $65,000 depending upon experience. Commission eligible (paid monthly) in addition to base salary. This is an overtime exempt position.
