Night Shift nurse (Week 1 M &W) (Week 2 ( M & F)

The job responsibilities of the RN/LPN include:

• Contribute to the nursing process and implement resident plan of care.
• Performs direct nursing services such as administering medications/treatments and to assist in assessment and evaluation; assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Delegates suitable components of care to the nursing assistant; provides guidance and supervision when necessary.
• Assists in resident and family teaching and rehabilitation.
• Recognizes and reports safety hazards.
• Identifies and evaluates the resident's response to health problems and treatments.
• Communicates resident care needs to other members of the health care team.
• Assumes responsibility for their own professional growth and development.
• Interprets philosophy and objectives for the facility and the nursing service for the residents, families and other employees when necessary.
