Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team at Van Smokey. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests. If you have a passion for mixology, excellent time management skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
- Knowledge of different brewing techniques and mixology is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry and banquet service is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
