The Parts Coordinator is responsible for coordinating furniture parts entries and orders from American Signature to stores and vendors. The Material Handler reports directly to the Operations Supervisor.

Qualified candidates must be able to:

• Ensure all parts are received and tagged properly.
• Package and disburse parts to ASI Stores and Customers. Includes the use of FedEx.
• Purchase order maintenance (ordering replenishment, follow up on PO’s, shipping issues, invoice approval).
• Maintain database (deleting old orders, inputting new inventory, updating, correcting errors).
• Cultivates a positive attitude for self and team when introducing new Vendors, Companies and Systems
• Responds to emails from vendors and stores on a timely basis.
• Keeps management informed of issues (backlog of orders, store complaints, vendor issues etc.)
• Works with warehouse team to ensure orders are filled on a timely basis.
• Maintains files and records.

Job Specifications:

• Customer service and data entry exp. required.
• Microsoft Office skills preferred.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Manhattan experience preferred
• Interpersonal communication skills including routine exchange of information via face-to-face, email or telephone contact. Skills in writing procedures, general memoranda, letters and/or routine reports as well as oral skills in explaining terms and methods.
• Works individually and is expected to cooperate with coworkers in creating smooth workflow.
• Problem solving initiative.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Attention to detail.
