Valston LLC is a design build commercial general contractor working on projects throughout the southeast. We are seeking a Superintendent that is eager to grow in the commercial construction industry for projects in the Mooresville, NC area. Candidates should be highly motivated individuals with the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain project schedules, and help ensure profitability. This position oversees the day to day operations on the job site and reports to the Project Manager.

Duties:

- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers
- Review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction
- Manage project budget and expenses, including construction estimating and cost control
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns or questions

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and construction plans
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team of subcontractors and laborers
- Solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
