Responsibilities

* Assist in the division order process, reviewing lease agreements, title opinions, and contracts to determine ownership interests and obligations.

* Calculate and validate royalty payments, working interest, and overrides, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and industry standards.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Land, and Accounting, to gather information and address queries related to ownership interests and revenue discrepancies.

* Analyze legal and contractual documents, identifying discrepancies and resolving minor title issues under supervision.

* Participate in mentorship and training programs to enhance your division order expertise and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

* Support the preparation of division order reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

* Calculate and set up decks

Skills

* Basic understanding of legal documents, contracts, and title opinions.

* Familiarity with division order processes, royalty calculations, and ownership allocation concepts.

* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.

* Detail-oriented and organized approach to handling numerical data and documentation.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Education/Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in energy related field preferred.

* RPL preferred.

* Minimum of 3 to 5 years of land experience (division orders, title work, leasing, property management, etc.)
