Our Fiber Technology center in Bedford, New Hampshire is looking for new talent!To start this position will be on contract basis and part time hours with potential to transition to permanent.
The Process Analyst will play a crucial role in our Valmet Fiber Technology Center as you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing processes within the paper manufacturing and fiber technology domain. You will conduct research, collect and analyze data, and provide insights to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability in paper and fiber production. This role requires a strong understanding of paper manufacturing processes, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

Perform various Fiber & Pulp analyses per industry standards and at times creatively adjust protocols when needed to meet test requests.
Report test results and coordinate with our other Valmet laboratory facilities to ensure that the performed analyses align with corporate standards.
Price jobs & work with customer service for quotes and orders.

Keep logs for all jobs and equipment in the facility.
Request equipment quotes from suppliers and submit new investment needs.
Work with the purchasing team to replenish material levels.
Coordinate required yearly service and calibration of equipment.
Perform ongoing maintenance (filter changes and small equipment repairs).

ExpectationsPreferably, but not necessary you will have an Associates or Technical degree, or a related field combined with strong knowledge of paper manufacturing processes, fiber technology, and quality control. A combination of relevant schooling with hands on laboratory work experience could also be considered.Previous experience in a similar role within a paper or fiber laboratory is preferred.We OfferWe offer a challenging work environment that values innovation and suits development-minded people who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
