- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Child Life, Education, Child Development, or related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Prefer at least one (1) year Child Life experience or previous acute care Pediatric experience.
- Must have successfully completed a Child Life Internship.
- Requires a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) certification.
- Requires BLS card obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
- Must possess the ability to work with culturally diverse patients and families.
- Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to meet designated deadlines are required.
- Must have basic computer knowledge.
- Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
- Bilingual Skills desired.
