VALLEY WOMEN'S HEALTH - SURGERY AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR

Valley Women's Health and Oncology is looking for a full-time staff member, Monday through Friday, for surgery scheduling and benefit coordination. The surgery coordinator is responsible for coordinating surgeries between our provider and affiliated hospital/surgical centers. This staff member will contact insurance companies to check on benefits, including prior-authorizations, scheduling surgeries in ICentra and other hospital programs, and will be responsible for collecting pre/post payments from patients based on benefits. 

Job Description 

Requirements: 1 years as a surgery scheduler, comfortable with calling insurances and checking benefits, medical terminology, must be highly motivated, self motivated, good working as a team and independently, great communication skills, must be organized and very detail driven, able to multitask and stay calm in stressful situations.
