What is a Global Caregiver?

A global caregiver is a Valley VNA employee that shares scheduled time working between the award-winning assisted living community and also provides nonmedical in-home care to clients still living in their home!! This gives you the opportunity to having meaningful one on one connections with clients in their home, as well as the group benefits of the assisted living environment!

Essential Duties for Global Caregivers include but are not limited to:

• Reads and implements Individual Service Plans
• Medication reminders/passing
• Provides personal cares to residents/clients including toileting/showers
• Monitors resident/client health and reports any changes appropriately
• Performs vital/weight checks as required
• Updates resident/client records
• Assist resident/client with life enrichment activities

Other duties may be assigned for clients in their home include but are not limited to:

• Making beds, changing linens
• Assist with personal laundry
• Light Housekeeping
• Light meal preparation

Requirements:

• Love working with and caring for seniors
• Kind, considerate and compassionate
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Liability auto Insurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
