We are looking for individuals that will help us support and make a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.

Valley Village is a non-profit organization that serves 400 men and women with developmental challenges through residential and day programs. All of our programs are located in the San Fernando Valley and are operated by a staff of over 300 people that love what they do. We are currently looking for part time Residential Aides !

Shifts may vary from weekdays, weekends and/or over nights in a residential group home setting. We have several shifts available

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a Care Provider, and the QIDP, the Residential Aides, with training, will provide direct care and supervision of residents' daily needs. This positions will also be responsible for completing assigned tasks and along with hands-on assistance in completing household responsibilities and meal preparations.

Requirements:

6 months work experience or volunteer work in a licensed health care facility or in a program that services people with developmental disabilities preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Position will require transportation of clients in the company’s vehicles; therefore, applicant must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (must be over the age of 21 yrs in order to be insured by the company’s insurance carrier).

All candidates must pass a physical exam, TB screening and fingerprint clearance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25 - $18.40 per hour
