Exciting Opportunity for Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to Practice in a Colorado Rockies Resort Community!

The Calaway Young Cancer Center (CYCC), located in Glenwood Springs, Colorado is seeking a board certified or board eligible Medical Oncologist to join our practice. This is an employed full-time position working with one other medical oncologist and two radiation oncologists. The CYCC is a comprehensive cancer center, accredited by the Commission on Cancer. We provide state of the art, high-quality care in a community setting and enjoy a good quality of life at the same time. 

The ideal candidate will be team oriented, patient-centered as well as quality and safety focused. Great communication skills are required. Participation in multidisciplinary tumor board conferences is expected. The position is open to candidates with all levels of experience. 

The CYCC is part of Valley View Hospital, a physician led, independent, nonprofit Health system with a diverse and engaged medical staff. In addition to a comprehensive cancer center, Valley View is a regional center for advanced cardiac care, neurosurgery and pulmonology and has been recognized for performance excellence from Healthgrades, J.D. Glenwood Springs is located on the western slope of Colorado's Rocky Mountains at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado rivers. It is located about 3 hours west of Denver, 40 minutes from Aspen and an hour from Vail. 

SALARY RANGE

• ‎$400K - $450K annually.
• Plus RVU Productivity Bonus and Quality Bonus.
