Until Filled VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a temporary, full-time Supported Education/Resource teaching position for the remainder of the 22-23 school year.
JOB SUMMARY:
The teacher is responsible to the Building Principal for working collaboratively with
school staff to develop and implement effective specialized instruction that meets each
individual’s goals contained within the Individual Education Plan and other targeted
interventions; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and
employing effective instructional techniques for learners with disabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must hold appropriate State of Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator with a Special Education endorsement
• Excellent communication skills with students, teachers and parents
• Knowledge of current teaching techniques for students with disabilities
• Ability to write & implement Individual Education Plans (IEP’s)
• Ability to work cooperatively with support personnel on a daily basis
• Satisfactory special education teaching experience
