Assistant Service Manager

Cleveland Freightliner in Cleveland, OH, is searching for a qualified individual with a drive to succeed to join our team. The Assistant Service Manager will work directly under and report to the Service Director. The Assistant Service Manager will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the service department and must be able to do so unsupervised in the absence of the Director. Valley Ford focuses on maintaining employee culture and a high energy / fast-paced work environment. • Strong attention to detail
• CDK experience a plus
• Write and review repair orders on a daily basis
• Maintain the highest level of CSI
• Manage repair orders and shop work flow with Service Advisors and Management
• Ensure customer, warranty, and internal repair work is finished in a timely manner.
• Train and monitor Service Advisors
• Assist Management in the development of departmental goals and initiate the action to achieve them.
• Focus on creating excellent customer service to develop repeat, loyal customers
• Train, motivate, review, and manage staff for high-level performance
• Remain versed on all recalls, vehicle changes, factory bulletins, etc.
• Attend and complete regular training provided by dealership & factory
• Other responsibilities as needed
