Job Description and Duties

Limited-term 12 months, may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.
This job posting is being used to fill limited-term, full-time Correctional Case Records Analyst positions. Limited-term appointments may be extended up to 24 months, or may become permanent. Vacancies will be filled in accordance with implemented hiring restrictions.

Positions may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
The remote-centered work schedule will include a minimum of two days per week in-office, and up to three days per week telework. Telework eligible applicants must reside in California.

Recruitment and Retention Pay:
The Correctional Case Records Analyst classification is eligible for annual recruitment and retention pay, which is currently 2,400 dollars.
Please Note – This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies if additional positions become available.
You must have taken and passed the examination for the Correctional Case Records Analyst classification, be a current state employee with lateral transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility to apply.
Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position(s).

Working Conditions

Positions are located at Valley State Prison in Chowchilla, California.

Positions may be eligible for a hybrid telework schedule.

Special Requirements

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. Candidates new to CDCR are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
