Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Director Trauma Program, you will provide for the overall coordination of the Trauma Center strategic planning, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, and registry aspects of the trauma center. As the Trauma Director, you must be able to demonstrate understanding of national patient safety initiatives by strict compliance to all safety protocols and procedures as required.

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will manage the operational, personnel and financial aspects of the Trauma Center.
  • You will serve as liaison to the Senior Hospital and Medical Staff Leadership to communicate ongoing Trauma Center initiatives.
  • You will represent the Trauma Center on various hospital and community committees to enhance and foster optimal trauma care management.
  • You will leads marketing/public relations initiatives.
  • You will be liaison to Directors/Chairs/Chiefs of all services and departments who provide care to the trauma patient in order to enhance trauma patient care/outcomes, and ensure compliance with ACS criteria.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • BSN required
  • Minimum five years of nursing leadership in a Trauma Center required
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas
  • ACLS, TNCC, and BLS required.
