Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Project Managers of Construction, for high-end municipal park, plaza, and open space projects. Ideal candidates will be inspiring leaders who foster teamwork in the field and help maintain Valley Rain's reputation as a great place to work.

Key Responsibilities: As a Project Manager at Valley Rain, you will play a pivotal role in our success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, directing, coordinating, and tracking activities for designated construction projects.
  • Ensuring that project goals and objectives are achieved within specified time frames and budget parameters.
  • Leading, managing, and motivating project teams to excel.
  • Utilizing your construction expertise to navigate site, civil, concrete, and landscape trades.
  • Collaborating with subordinates and cross-functional teams to drive project success.
  • Performing other tasks in support of company and team goals.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of construction experience (Preferred).
  • Driver's License
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation: Competitive salary, ranging from $90,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year, dependent on experience (DOE).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques for monitoring project performance
  • Familiarity with lean principles, Lean Six Sigma, and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in using project management software such as Workday, Smartsheet, or similar systems
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to resolve issues and mitigate risks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to gather requirements and develop solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus
