Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Outreach Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community engagement and possess strong communication skills to effectively connect with diverse audiences.

General Description:

Coordinates, plans and implements programming for Chicopee at risk youth, ages 14-21. Conducts weekly briefings for the Director of the Continuing Education and Career Center and ensures that communications and reports related to project activities are completed. Provides information to evaluation contractor as required, and supervises the activities of the youth workers and any other Youth Work staff. Provides direction and leadership in such a way as to nurture, create, and maintain an environment that is (1) free from discrimination, intolerance and harassment and (2) provide employees with equal access to opportunities for growth and advancement including professional development whenever possible.

Specific Essential Duties:

· Organize and implement project activities according to the RFP submitted

· Coordinate and supervise Youth Works, Year Round and Summer Employment program

· Conduct Work Readiness training program

· Outreach and recruit program participants and vendors

· Supervise part-time youth program staff

· Other duties as assigned

General Requirements:

· BA in Social Work, counseling, education, youth development, or other related field

· Bilingual preferred (Spanish)

· Good communication and record keeping skills

· Ability to relate to diverse community groups

· Valid driver’s license and transportation

Employees are also eligible to start the plan and contribute through payroll deductions after 30 days on the job.

Pay: $21.84 - $22.34 per hour
