Valley Home Care is Hiring a Home Health Aide Near Cranberry, PA

Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to seniors and individuals with special needs in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication reminders
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Help clients with mobility needs, including transferring and lifting
- Monitor and record vital signs as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate records
- Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or memory care needs

Requirements:
- Previous experience in senior care or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to lift and move clients safely
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
- High school diploma or equivalent
