Full time ophthalmology technician in a busy 3 doctor ophthalmology practice in Ayer, MA, with strong clinical research component and satellite locations in Marlborough and Worcester. Travel between locations is required/as needed. Duties include performing intakes (visual acuity testing, refractions), entering data via electronic medical record, performing retinal and anterior segment imaging techniques, visual field analyses, front desk cross training duties. Candidates are expected to become proficient and certified for research on multiple testing modalities and techniques. Mentorship and training for certification is provided. Pre-professional and/or pre-medical applicants preferred. Starting salary determined by work history and experience.
