Hearing Instrument Specialist $50k-$55k commission

Valley Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists, P.A., a leading healthcare provider in the Rio Grande Valley, is seeking dedicated and experienced Hearing Instrument Specialists to join our team.

We have openings for positions at both our McAllen and Harlingen offices. If you are passionate about improving the lives of patients with hearing loss and are looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Recommend and fit hearing aids and other assistive listening devices tailored to each patient's individual needs.
  • Review pricing and sale of hearing aids as part of the patient education process.
  • Provide ongoing support and counseling to patients regarding hearing aid use, maintenance, and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • AAS in Hearing Instrument Specialist preferred
  • Hearing Instrument Specialist licensure as required by Texas state law. Must have successfully completed the state licensing requirements to be deemed a Hearing Instrument Fitter / Dispenser
  • Excellent listening, sales, and problem-solving skills that allow effective working relationships with diverse customer, colleague, and vendor populations.
  • Strong keyboard / computer / Audiology diagnostic and hearing aid software and equipment experience
