Typical Duties & Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include promoting public safety through effective community policing practices, patrolling county roads to suppress criminal activity and to help prevent traffic accidents, responding to calls from people in need of help, participating in criminal investigations and testifying in court, and representing the Sheriff's Office as positive role models within the county.
