NATURE OF WORK:As amember of the treatment team, the therapist is responsible for assessing,planning and caring for the behavioral health needs of consumers who arechemical dependent.This involves theapplication of standardized assessment tools, therapy and counselingtechniques, and crisis intervention services.

• Master’sDegree in relevant Human Service Discipline.
• Currentlyholds or is actively pursing a license in the State of West Virginia as one of the following: LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPC, LP or pursuing Licensure as a Psychologist (GoldCard). If holding a provisional LPC License, must obtain a regular license assoon as eligible.
• Previousexperience in counseling adults and/or children.Minimum one-year experience.
• Knowledgeof agency, state, and federal guidelines.
• Abilityto comply with Client’s Rights.
• Abilityto comply with Valley’s and Division departmental safety procedures.
• Abilityto legally transport client.
• CurrentCPR/First Aid Certificate or ability to be trained.
