Position Summary :

The Health Information Management Assembly Clerk participate as an integral member of the Health Information Management team by ensuring the quality maintenance of patient information within laws, rules and regulations of federal and state licensing agencies, and The Joint Commission standards for the quality of patient care.

The Assembly Clerk has primary responsibility of organizing and assembling discharged medical records in a uniform manner.

Qualifications

Essential Job Duties of the :

• Provides support for daily needs including the filing and maintenance of the medical records.
• Attention to detail
• High Regard for Confidentiality and HIPAA
• Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare setting or clerical field preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial.

Qualifications :

High school graduate of equivalent.
