Valkyrie Protection Agency is Hiring an Armed Security Guard - Full Time (Phoenix West) Near Phoenix, AZ
Likely swing shift schedule (1-9, 2-10, 3-11) Mon-Sun available.
One position is available from 8-4 Monday through Friday, but it is not guaranteed. Please let us know if this is your preferred shift time.QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 150 pounds
- Be able to climb stairs and ramps
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Able to pass a physical standard test
- Willing to be trained and learn
- Arizona Unarmed Card
- Arizona Armed Guard Card
- Experience with firearms/firearms training
- Military, law enforcement and corrections experience
- Customer service and communication skills'
- EMT and Medical Training
- Security: 1 year (Preferred)
