Summary

ValidaTek is seeking a Project Manager - Software Development is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the Joint Service Provider website development projects. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality websites on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Strategy: Collaborating with customers and stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and requirements. Developing project plans, and to guide the website development process.
• Team Management: Building and leading a team of website developers, designers, and other professionals involved in the project. Assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Project Execution: Monitoring and controlling the progress of website development projects. Ensuring that the project stays on track and meets the defined milestones and deliverables. Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during the development process.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting regular quality checks to ensure that the website meets the required standards and specifications. Testing the website for functionality, usability, and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
• Client Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project. Providing regular updates on the project status, addressing any concerns or feedback, and managing client expectations.
• Risk Management: Identifying and assessing potential risks and challenges associated with website development projects. Developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize any negative impact on the project.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and budget tracking. Generating regular reports on project status, key metrics, and performance indicators.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Active SECRET clearance
• Must have two years of software development experience
• Must be SCRUM Master certified. If not, must complete the certification within 90 days.
