Position Overview:

This role will support the business in the negotiation and review of contracts, disputes, and legal research. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes, protecting the company against legal risks, and maintaining our compliance with industry-specific regulations.

Responsibilities:

Draft, review and negotiate various types of client engagement contracts such as Master Services Agreements, End User License Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Non Disclosure Agreements and Data Processing Agreements.

Collaborate closely with the sales team, delivery team and management to understand business needs and ensure contracts reflect these requirements effectively.

Serve as the primary liaison between the company and clients during contract negotiations.

Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various types of business agreements, such as lease agreements, service provider contracts and partner agreements. 

Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract terms to protect company interests.

Ensure all contracts are in compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Revise and modernize the company's contract templates to ensure they reflect the most current legal standards and best practices.

Support the legal department in compliance matters, including staying abreast of changes in laws and industry legal standards such as data privacy. 

Provide support to the company on various ad hoc business/legal matters.

General Requirements:

Proven experience in contract management, negotiation, and administration.

Strong understanding of contracts law and experience with commercial contracts.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both clients and team members.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to swiftly execute tasks, ensuring timely progress and resolution of contract matters.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to explain legal contractual concepts to non-legal professionals.

A team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications:

Law degree or a bachelors degree in a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in contract management or a legal role within the IT consulting industry.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
