Responsibilities
The primary function of the Fundraising Specialist is to manage the donor database, constituent relationship management, provide reports, and data analytics. Assist with fundraising efforts, marketing, social media and help organize and manage internal and external events. This position reports directly to the Corporate Development Director.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university with a preference for a degree in marketing, public relations, communications, English or business. Experience with donor management software -eTapestry preferred. Strong written communication and editing skills are required. Experience with non-profit fund raising preferred. Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office experience is essential. This person must be able to work in a team environment, handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Some evenings and weekends are required, must be able to manage a flexible schedule. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid Kansas driver’s license, reliable transportation (mileage paid), necessary insurance, and the ability to pass pre-employment background checks and SRS Adult/Child Abuse Registries.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, and sit. Extensive computer and telephone work is required so the ability to operate a computer for up to 90% of the shift is required. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
