Description of Job: The Finance Manager will have responsibilities for managing ad-hoc Business Support to Valent Biosciences (VBC) and subsidiaries. The position will manage and provide financial management and analysis support for VBC and Mycorrhizal Applications (MA) businesses and the commercial units around Public Health and Forestry(PH&F), and the newly formed Biostimulant segment. The position will help create and develop dashboards and reports within Power BI to enhance business insights and analysis, support the VBC and MA sales organizations and analysis relating to emerging issues for the business.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain commercial pricing for VBC and MA, primarily supporting PH&F and Biostimulant business segments along with entity sales month-end sales and analysis and customer rebate programs.
• Provide financial analysis and modeling around licensing and future acquisition opportunities.
• Manage and maintain commercial pricing and corresponding approvals with our marketing team and affiliates, as well as maintaining and updating pricing in SAP/models.
• Manage and determine intercompany transfer prices along with updating and reviewing transfer pricing documentation with third party consultant.
• Provide financial support on business development and pipeline projects, as needed.
• Create and develop dashboards and reports within Power BI to enhance business analysis and insights along with streamline/automate current reporting and processes.
• Prepare monthly CEO’s management letter to parent company.
• Provide ad-hoc financial support for emerging opportunities within the business.
• Create ad-hoc reports and financial analysis in support of other departments business decision making.

Experience: 6 – 9 years of related experience. SAP software experience, Microsoft Excel (intermediate/advanced), SAP BPC Reporting application skills. Strong Microsoft Power BI application skills, and IFRS and U.S. GAAP technical accounting experience preferred.

Education: B.A./B.S. minimum, MBA, CPA or CMA preferred.
