 Schedule: 1st Shift 

Job Summary:

Perform quality inspections of aerospace parts at Valence Surface Technologies

Job Description:

    • Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
    • Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete, and precise records of inspection.
    • Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
    • Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to
    • QA administrators Conduct internal audits as required.
    • Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
    • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements: 

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required 

Experience: 5 years of experience in Aerospace Manufacturing/Chemical Processing Computer Programming Platforms, SPC programs, and Simulators.

Computer Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Person Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
