Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversees the implementation of the company’s safety program
- Integrate company’s safety policies into the day-to-day activities of all employees
- Responsible for compliance with government standards concerning safety including OSHA guidelines
- Assist supervisors with incident investigations
- Conduct onsite safety inspections, identify unsafe condition and practices and work with supervisors to reduce safety concerns
- Conduct and lead training classes in accordance with SOPs in large groups
Required Qualifications
- Adequate knowledge of industry terminology and field operations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety guidelines
- Experience training large groups of employees and one-on-one
