Job Description

Valdez International Corporation a major Aerospace / Defense contractor has positions available on its IAFNOS contract for Enterprise Experts across multiple disciplines.

The Enterprise Governance team will be comprised of experts in IT governance frameworks, standards, and policies. The team will evaluate the current operating environment and make recommended changes on both the technical environments and the business processes.

Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours.

Tasks Include

• Standardizing and optimizing operational processes in each mission area
• Performing continual service improvement within each mission area and developing action plans for reaching performance targets
• Building relationships and coordinating with mission partners across the enterprise
• Aligning guidance and operations within mission areas by monitoring procedures, checklists and standard operating procedures to enhance and improve the AFIN performance and stability
• Developing draft policy documents and reviewing doctrinal guidance to ensure operational processes are addressed appropriately within guidance
• Conducting trend analysis of operational performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Briefing government leadership on the status of projects and initiatives within each mission area
• Maintaining situational awareness of a mission area, to include tracking active projects, change requests, updates to higher-level guidance, and overall tactical operations
• Acting as mission area subject matter experts (SME) in support of enterprise working groups
• Preparing for cybersecurity inspections according to industry best practices and organizational guidance
• Ensuring operational objectives are strategically aligned with executive leadership organizational mission goals.
• Analyzing mission area goals and connecting them to IT objectives and tasks
• Streamlining operational processes through documentation and standardization

Additional Preferred Experience:

• 15 years of experience working in the Air Force IT/Cyber environment
• Developing and maintaining Services Catalog for core services provided to AFIN users by the organization
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices

Certifications / Requirements

• Must have Secret Clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAM Level II requirement prior to start.
• ITIL v4 Foundations for Service Management.
• Drug Screen Required.
