Valco Companies is Hiring a Material Handler Near Coldwater, OH
VALCO is a leader in commercial poultry, egg, and swine production equipment, specializing in world-famous poultry watering and feeding systems is currently looking for Full-Time Material Handler for our Press Room at our Coldwater, Ohio facility.
* 4 DAY WORK WEEK
* 60 HOURS PTO FOR 2024 AFTER COMPLETION OF PROBATIONARY PERIOD
* PAID WEEKLY
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Move and organize parts or material in press room to facilitate the efficient flow of production operations
- Assist job setters in the removal or retrieval of dies and place them in proper locations
- Assist operators by moving material and finished parts promptly to and from their work stations
- Remove and dispose of scrap
- Inspect all parts containers (boxes, racks, skids, timbers, etc.) before using them and tag for repair or remove from service all damaged containers
- Check all finished loads are tagged properly before moving them to inventory
- Keep aisles, exits, fire extinguishers and circuit boxes clear of obstruction
- Strictly adhere to all safety requirements
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Previous forklift experience
- Proficient in math, reading, and writing
- Basic Computer Skills
- Good communication Skills
